Fossiling in Lyme Regis
12 June 2012
Prep 1 and 2 headed off to Lyme Regis last week to visit the Dinosaur and Fossil Museum. After getting upclose to a number of magnificent beasts and handling a huge variety of fossils they visited Mary Anning's grave and the site where she discovered the Icothasaurus. The children also enjoyed the Lyme Regis museum which supported their learning on Victorian Seasides. Pupils then got some hands-on experience through sandcastle building and ice cream eating!
