Six talented swimmers from James Allen’s Preparatory School are celebrating personal bests, victories and a healthy crop of excellent results at the IAPS National Swimming Finals at K2 in Crawley. Congratulations to Kaylee, Zita, Tallulah, Sophie, Imogen and Lucy on their brilliant swims, especially Imogen who won the 25m Breaststroke in a time of 19.78 seconds. The Year 6 team came 9th in the 4 x 25m Freestyle; Kaylee and Lucy came 9th and 12th respectively in 25m Butterfly, and Zita came 14th in the 50m Freestyle. Imogen was second fastest into the finals of the 25m Breaststroke. During the warm up she worked on her starts which showed in the finals as it was a very close finish but Imogen pushed hard to the end and swam 0.20 faster to finish 1st. Well done to the whole team on some cracking results!
