The pupils chosen from well over two hundred entries took part in the National final. Our finalists gave nerveless performances of the very highest level. The eventual winner came from a school in Shropshire, however our Year 8 trumpeter was runner up for the second year in a row. The other finalists from Lancing Prep contained cello, saxophone and voice. Our Head Master, Alan Laurent, commented "it is quite remarkable that from an organisation of over fifty schools, we can produce a third of the finalists. I am so proud of the pupil's achievements and was delighted by their performances."
