Changes to Attain

For the past two years, Attain has been produced in partnership with IAPS - the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools - which represents the leading 600+ independent prep schools in the UK and overseas.

We are delighted to announce a strengthening of this relationship with Attain becoming the official magazine of IAPS for both parents and staff at their schools. Previously, IAPS had two affiliated magazines and Attain is now firmly established as the leading magazine for independent education.

David Hanson, Chief Executive of IAPS said: "We are delighted to strengthen our already superb working relationship with Attain and their publishers, Chapel Studios. Their excellent editorial and design skills, coupled with great contacts in the prep school world, means this publication will continue to go from strength-to-strength. It is already a must-read for any head, teacher or parent." Matthew Smith, Attain's Editor said: "Our vision for Attain was to create a magazine which was of real value to parents. Sending your child to an independent school is not a decision taken lightly. For many parents, it involves considerable financial sacrifice and they want to ensure that their child gets the best possible start in life. Through a combination of first class contributors and lively debate, we aim to ensure that parents are fully informed of all the issues surrounding independent education today."

Attain has many developments planned for both parents and staff alike and we would encourage all readers to visit our website and register their details.

We would like to thank all our readers for their support and encouragement which has helped shape Attain and look forward to an exciting future working closely with IAPS.
