About Pipers Corner School
At Pipers Corner School there is a focus on excellence which is reflected in the quality of teaching we provide and the environment in which our girls develop. This focus, along with our nurturing and encouraging ethos, enables all girls to grow into mature, confident and independent individuals. Academically successful, our girls progress to further study at Oxbridge and other top universities or specialist dance, drama and music colleges. 11+ Scholarships are available for entry into the Senior School in any one of the following areas: Academic, Art, Drama, Music and PE. Means-tested bursaries are also available up to a maximum of 100% of day or boarding fees (including any scholarship award). We also offer The Jessie Cross Bursary – an award for an all-rounder at 11+. This is a means-tested bursary of up to 100% of fees, available to a deserving student currently educated in a maintained primary school and who shows promise in a number of areas. A limited number of Sixth Form Scholarships are available at 16+. The standard and extent of our excellent facilities along with our commitment to a programme of continual improvement means that our girls have all the space and equipment they need to enable them to excel. Sport is popular at Pipers, and from the 25-metre indoor swimming pool to the sports hall and outdoor pitches we can accommodate a wide range of activities. Similarly, those with creative interests benefit from the use of dance, drama and art studios within our Performing Arts and Technology Centre. In addition to providing a stimulating learning environment, we also encourage the girls to cultivate any sporting or creative talents they have through a wide range of lunch-time and afterschool clubs and activities. Our friendly boarding community offers flexibility, freedom and peace of mind to both girls and parents. Our range of boarding options means that we can provide practical solutions to the often demanding needs of modern family life. Excellent staff/student ratios, regular group activities and a “home from home” environment mean that fun and friendships are allowed to flourish.
