About Sidcot School
Learning to Make a Difference Life at Sidcot is never dull. As a non-selective, day and boarding school for 520 girls and boys aged 3-18 years; we have enough students for a thriving school life with a full time-table of extra curricular activities, yet we are still able to provide small classes where individual needs are met. Open Minds We are one of only a few schools in the South West where students can study either A Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma and a top 10 school in Bristol and Somerset for GCSE and A Level results. We have been presented (for the third time!) with The Good Schools Guide award for the best Further Mathematics A Level results for boys in the country. Sidcot is an inspirational environment with fantastic facilities spread over 150 acres of rolling Mendip Hills. There are activities everyday that utilise our stunning new Arts Centre, Equestrian and Leisure Centres to ensure students can stretch their creative, sporty or adventurous side. Open Ethos Sidcot’s Quaker values encourage everyone to be adventurous and make a difference. We excel at building student’s self-esteem by looking for all their strengths and not just academic excellence. Students and staff are treated as equals, with respect and encouraged to challenge their thinking in a safe environment. Open Arms Situated in a beautiful, safe and rural environment only 10 mins from Bristol Airport and 20 mins from Bristol City, Sidcot is a thriving, inspirational school where children really are at the heart of everything we do. If you would like to see this for yourself please contact us and arrange to come and visit!
